Unexpected Christmas Break.

Uncategorized | December 27, 2015 | By

OK, I messed up. I admit it.

I planned on having the 10 days of Christmas in the life of a foodie and food blogger, but family comes first.

Ya see, this was a very special Christmas. My little one found the joy of Christmas and I saw his world..his passion and his excitement through his eyes.

He saw the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree for the first time.

He said he was no longer afraid of Santa and his beard and loved him.

Yesterday morning before running into seeing the gifts under the tree, he looked me in the eyes, kissed me and told me he loved me so much and how happy he was.

There was a glimmer in his eyes that I have never seen accompanied by a curled up little toddler smile, and when he asked me to play with him all day..I complied.

In fact, I played all week.

Look forward to some fun recipes and tasty treats this week.

I hope you all had a wonderful week.

Beautiful sentiment. Family before food is a wonderful ideal and I thank you for your honesty.
